Dry Magnetic Drum Separators mainly consists of such four parts as cylinder, magnetic system, cell and transmission parts. Cylinder is made of 2-3mm welded and bent stainless steel and the terminal cover is forged aluminum plate which is connected with stainless bolts.
The magnetic system is a ring-shaped chain closed magnetic circuit with energizing coils made of copper tubing and cooled internally by water. Grooved plates made of magnetic conductive stainless steel are used as a magnetic matrix. This separator features a short magnetic circuit, little magnetic flux leakage, high magnetic intensity, low energy consumption, a simple structure and easy maintenance.

When materials go through the permanent magnetic drum, the magnetic particles are absorbed to the drum surface and discharged through the magnetic product area. Meanwhile, the non-magnetic particles are ejected from the drum surface under the influence of the centrifugal force and gravitation and discharged through the non-magnetic product area.
